HE SAW- SHE SAW
Now that we've both retired from our day jobs we look forward to spending significantly more time photographing. We've often discussed how fascinating it is, at least to us, that we can be in the same location at the same time and come home with an entirely different set of images.
We've decided that for the next 52 weeks we will each select an image from the same shooting session and accompany it with a short commentary on why/how we made that particular image. We hope that you'll find this investigation of our individual photographic eyes as interesting as we will.
(NEW NOTE) Volume I is now complete. It's been over a year now that we've had the gift of increased time and opportunity to photograph; and, what you see below is a diary, in pictures, of that time. The main surprise for us is that we never cease being surprised by what the other has discovered to photograph when we're out together. "Hey, I didn't see that" is not an uncommon phrase to be heard upon our return from shooting.
The whole project has been a delight for us; and, we hope, for others who have followed our progress through the year. It's far too much fun to stop now. We're looking forward to Volume II.
