KP(left) This afternoon, the waters of Lake Erie were made milky by storm wind and wave action. A sand bar, that hadn't been there the day previous, was developing and changing in shape even in the hour I spent watching it.

LM(right) Our favorite stretch of Lake Erie beach continues to surprise. The other afternoon, a combination of wind, freeze, thaw, oxides and light resulted in a tapestry of abstract lines, colours and forms that kept me busy capturing the transient beauty until rain erased the canvas.
