LM(right) The variable temperatures this winter have resulted in transient ice. I noticed the visually interesting scalloped edges of this patch next to the dark flowing water.

KP(left) I think of this as Lake Erie's Iceland imitation. Waves cause eruptions of water, ice chunks and sand to issue from ice craters, building higher the "hills" that form the ridges. The sound effects were an unexpected surprise. A crystalline tinkling could be heard as ice met ice.
