HE/SHE #44, 2016 - HE SAW- SHE SAW
LM(left)Thanks to a few days of long overdue cold, some ice is appearing along the Lake Erie shore. It's great fun to decide what to include and what to leave out when composing abstract images

KP(right) It seems like months since we’ve seen the sun, but here it was, on a frigid day, in a cloudless blue sky. We stayed out until after sunset, taking advantage of every available moment. As the sun became low in the sky, its light caught the tips of the frozen ripples in the sand, highlighting their curves. For a brief time, the warm light combined with the blue shadows created an unusually rich palette of colours.
