LM(right) The yellow/copper foliage of the Beech trees now predominate the autumn hues of Backus Woods. Looking to suggest the luminance of the bright overcast light yesterday morning, I pointed the camera up to the canopy and composed a high key interpretation of late October in Norfolk County.
KP(left) As I looked skywards, the back-lit beech leaves were glowing with intense colour, contrasting sharply with the tree trunk and branches darkened by the previous night's rain. I arranged these bold elements to make a simple but graphic image.
