KP(upper) I found myself just as interested in the fall colour in the wrecking yard as the mouldering vehicles. It is a different palette than Norfolk, with bronzed yellows, lime green, and burgundy, setting off birch trunks. A heavy rain added a blue-purple haze, completing the sombre but colourful landscape.
LM(lower) I designed this composition in a graphic way, drawing attention to the clean lines and understated colours of this vehicle. The rectangular space containing the shattered glass adds visual tension. A sense of the season comes from subtle reflections of bare branches on the wet metal surfaces.
