KP (upper) The freshly fallen snow was still pristine while the low sky, heavy with clouds, appeared to reach down to meet the dune. I felt that the simplicity of these two elements captured the stillness of the day.
LM (lower) According to the calendar, spring has arrived on Long Point beach. This image captures the energy of one season morphing into the next. Winter ice must be smashed and battered into its component pieces before the equally dynamic, if more subtle landscape of sand, wind and water emerges.
