HE/SHE #33, 2015

LM(right) This image is my interpretation of a small section of Josiah McElheny's installation at the Corning Museum of glass. I was interested in the elongated shape of this piece and worked in post production to present it as a high key image. I wanted it to be as ethereal as possible--on the verge of dissolving into the background.
KP(left) American artist, Michael Scheiner, is represented in the Corning Glass Museum by his wonderful work "Sheer Volume". I was captivated by it and spent some time trying to capture its essence photographically. It was a study in reflections, edges and "seeing through" that varied with the light streaming into the gallery. I think of this as a self-portrait, simultaneously vague and complex.
