HE/SHE #27, 2015

LM(right)When we arrived at Sky Lake and saw that the fog was rolling through, we were out of the car in seconds. During the course of a few hours of shooting, the landscape revealed itself periodically before fading away again. I was interested in the various horizontal layers of vegetation and water from near to far, with the mist softening the whole confection.
KP(left) A truism in photography is "bad weather means good photography", but on this afternoon things were really not looking promising. We carried on to Sky Lake regardless, and when we arrived there we were rewarded for our persistence. The pelting rain turned into intermittent drizzle and the fog was waxing and waning. Wonderful!
