KP(left photograph) Burano's houses are painted in a great assortment of jelly bean hues. It amused me to discover drying laundry that was co-ordinated with the colour scheme of the adjacent walls.
LM(right photograph) Many front doorways in Burano are covered with stripped curtains that colour co-ordinate with the painted stucco. In addition, the various utility items such as mops and brooms seem to be chosen with colour in mind. As a visiting photographer, the overall aesthetic of the place was thrilling.
