HE/SHE #10, 2013

LM (left photograph) I'm always looking for curves in nature. Here, the eye is led into and through the picture space by a sensuous path of grasses. On either side is a meadow of fresh Goldenrod; in the distance, a "forest" of Mullein stalks.
KP (right photograph) While we were at the meadow yesterday it began to rain, stilling the wind and saturating the colours.
There has been a progression in bloom since our photographs of Week 28.. The vetch and brown-eyed susans have lost their prominence. Goldenrod and a wonderful array of grasses - little blue stem, large blue stem and Indian grass among other varieties, have taken their place.
