OVERGROWN - NORFOLK COUNTY

I've driven past this scene for years without stopping to really see it. One day, some photo buddies noticed the old house and we pulled over so that they could work the situation. I grabbed my super wide angle lens and suddenly, the big picture hit me like a ton of bricks. The ultimate story wasn't the decaying home, but the little woods, open field and big sky. Duh! A sepia treatment in post production completed the presentation and clarified the visual metaphor.
