I came across this scene while we were on the Bruce Peninsula for a two week vacation. With so much to photograph in the surrounding wildflower meadows, it took a few days before I calmed down and recognized that this small area had potential too. I worked many separate aspects of this scene until I composed this image of quiet strength.
