I often pass by this location on my way to Long Point Beach, but rarely does something arrest my eye. On this afternoon, though, I noticed a broad expanse of summer clouds, with lone tree rising from a flat marsh to punctuate the horizon. There are times that the unexceptional becomes exceptional.
