TREES WEEK#33

TREES WEEK#33 - 52 WEEKS - AN ENCOUNTER WITH TREES
photograph by larry monczka

What I like about this particular chunk of driftwood is its patina and individuality. Far removed in time and place as a living tree, it bears the scars of age. The story of it's complex journey is suggested in this close-up. The viewers' imagination fills in the rest.
