LM(right) In early June, a roadside on the upper Bruce a Peninsula was rich with unfolding ferns. At this stage, the circular frond edges are very sculptural.

KP(left) All the rain this spring created a bountiful growth of ferns. This duo seemed to me to be in conversation.
