LM(left) There was a satiny crust of ice on the accumulated snow at long point beach today due to a recent freeze/thaw cycle. The shadows of a sand fence looked quite elegant, although it was a struggle to trudge my way towards it.
KP(right) The sensuous curves of the drifts of snow were deceivingly soft in appearance. They had been hardened into rigid immobility by a day of freezing rain.
