LM(upper)t was the coldest morning of December on the bay of Port Ryerse. This primal shape formed by the natural forces of freeze and thaw seemed to offer a powerful symbolic anchor to my composition.

KP(lower)Sunrise at -24C created a wonderful warm/cool palette which could actually be described as cold/damn cold.
