High summer heralds the influx of tourists, campers and sunbathers to the beaches of Long Point. During a late afternoon walk the traces of this seasonal invasion were unavoidable. "Sam" was here, briefly, but his transient presence will soon be erased by the indifferent forces of wind and water.
