I took shelter the other day in the viewing platform at Big Creek during one of the many torrential downpours we've experienced this October. My eye was immediately attracted to the orderly yet lively graphic patterns created by the intersection of line, shadow and reflection on the wet wooden floor. Since colour was a distraction, I converted to monochrome in this treatment.
