A return to seasonal temperatures was welcome this week, It was accompanied by a string of sunny days with the high contrast lighting conditions that allowed me to make this photograph. The backlit phragmite plumes jump forward visually because of their light tone while darker secondary elements minimize distractions and simplify the image.
