A thin skin of ice is forming, much delayed, in the sheltered inlets of the marsh. I liked the spareness of the trees against the moody sky and the richness of their reflection on the icy water. The picture space is divided into two narrow and two wide horizontal rectangles, organizing the composition in a formal way.
