TREES WEEK #9

TREES WEEK #9 - 52 WEEKS - AN ENCOUNTER WITH TREES
photograph by larry monczka

Non photographers find it hard to believe that we jump for joy when the weatherman calls for wet snow and freezing rain. Here, the highly saturated atmosphere offers the gift of rich, saturated colours and open shadows. Beech leaves retained over the winter range from copper to cream while oak saplings are golden brown.
