WEEK 1

Of the many stones littering the beach, this one caught my eye because the perfection of its surface was disrupted by a light-toned inclusion. It had character. The dark oxides in the sand create a graceful visual design that guides the eye through the picture space. Since colour is secondary to texture and form in this image, I decided on a monochrome treatment.
