H/S WEEK #11

LM (upper) I've driven past this little grove of trees for years without really noticing them. This week though, I slammed on the brakes and couldn't believe my eyes. A heavy wet snowstorm had covered the trunks on one side, creating a stark graphic effect. The fog that rolled in as temperatures moderated softened contrasts and eliminated background distractions. Sweet!
KP (lower) I think today was a day that a Newfoundlander would call “mauzy”. The air was full of moisture; an ever changing combination of rain, snow and fog. My challenge was to create a photograph that would drip that saturated atmosphere onto the page.
