HE/SHE WEEK 38

KP(upper photograph)We were at Long Point Beach today, pleased to be back. The fierce winds of the day before had abated and the beach was swept clean. This is my final photograph of the evening, taken just prior to losing the light.
LM(lower photograph)The sand fences are up again on Long Point beach in time for fall storms. They are meant to contain or direct the sand that howling winter winds blow about. Because the fences are reused year after year, they often look quite snaggle toothed. Blustery weather over the last few days has stirred up sand sediments in the lake, resulting in a milky hue.
