HE/SHE WEEK 39

LM (left photograph) A theme emerged during a wet, cold November photo session in the car wrecking yard this week. Wet, opaque and distressed windows spoke to me strongly. This image is almost completely abstract except for the inclusion of a section of windshield wiper. Context and scale become apparent thanks to the presence of this seemingly minor visual element.
KP (right photograph) As I was squelching down a path at the wrecking yard this weekend I came across a vehicle that I had passed, but ignored, on numerous occasions. On this morning, though, the rain had saturated its colours (as well as everything else) and brought temporary life and shine to its usually subdued palette.
