COLOUR - WEEK #21

photograph by larry monczka
A return to the wrecking yard heralds this week's recurrent theme of "bright and bold". I composed this image in the form of a simple grid, with visual energy introduced by slightly diagonal lines both horizontally and vertically. Additionally, the potentially static rectangles are juiced up by a free form splash of colored corrosion and a small neutral element that draws the eye away from the livelier hues.
