HARRY'S POINT - FRANKLIN ISLAND

The eastern shores of Georgian Bay, at Franklin Island, have the same crystalline waters as its western edges; but, in the east, the underlying rock is the granite of the Canadian Shield rather than the limestone of the Niagara Escarpment. The sun, as it shines through water lapping over the granite, renders a very different palette than that of the Bruce Peninsula.
