HE/SHE WEEK 4-2

KP(left)The small stones heaped at the shore's edge were enlivened by shifting stripes of light created by sun on rippling water. In my attempt to convey the energy and brilliance of the light show I eliminated the muted colours of the stones and converted the image to monochrome, concentrating only on the wide tonal range.
LM(right) I placed this stone into the clear water of Georgian Bay, framed the shot, and photographed over time as the water and sunlight randomly interacted with my static subject. The grid presentation illustrates the visual nature of time in photography.
