LM(right) I've my eye on this lone Cottonwood for months. This morning, during a light snow fall, I clambered over a dune and isolated the tree in my viewfinder. What seemed to be an eagle turned out to be a Great Horned Owl scanning long point marsh. Bingo!

KP(left) Breaks in the clouds created dynamic lighting conditions this afternoon. For this brief period the lake resembled molten silver under the still heavy sky.
