H/S WEEK #51

H/S WEEK #51 - PHOTO STORAGE
KP(upper) Ice that had broken into panes during a temporary warm spell refroze overnight as, yet again, the temperatures plummeted. A fresh dusting of snow camouflaged the wear and tear of the end of winter.

LM(lower)The Tundra swans are finally migrating through Norfolk County, later than usual since Lake Erie remains mostly frozen. There is some open water near home where Young's Creek empties into the lake. I wandered down to the shore before sunrise to make this image of the birds against the warm light of a very cold dawn.
