WATERWALL - GEORGIAN BAY

photograph by kathleen pickard
I've been photographing the waters of Georgian Bay, in the Bruce Peninsula, for a number of years now. This year the sky was unabatingly sunny and the waves were high. The conditions called for a new photographic approach. I concentrated on looking through the waves, catching the moment when the transparent wall of water had risen to its highest and was just about to break. Energy arrested.
