KP(left) After a thaw, followed by freezing rain, a cold snap has arrived again. For a short time the pebbles on Long Point Beach had been released from ice; now they were back in its grip… at least for a little while.
LM(right) Recently, an uncommon ice storm coated the cottonwood trees along the lake with clear ice that persisted,for days. I took a lot of care to find a branch formation that had a rhythmic quality, then processed it in high key to emphasize the graphic elements.
